I am going to be listing several necklaces that I obtained from a lady whose aunt traveled to India and surrounding countries in the 1950's and 1960's.She knew very little about this jewelry, only that her aunt had acquired the pieces in her travels to that area of the world in that time frame.I am unfamiliar with this type of jewelry myself so will do the best I can in listing/describing it.Please ask questions if you need more information about anything. This necklace consists of a very large pendant that hangs from a simple chain. The pendant is made from silver metal with lots of intricate wire work and large set stones that look to be agates. It measures 5.5" long including the dangles and is 3.5" wide. The chain is 25" long and fits over the head,no clasp. This necklace has no missing stone and is in very good vintage condition.I do not believe the silver is real silver, probably an alloy or other white metal. It is really eye catching, sure to be noticed.
