A mysterious estate find, this ring came from a sale at an ancient Oregonian mansion. I like to imagine the lady of the house managing her various affairs, canning freshly made jams in an antiquated kitchen, with this little ring as her steadfast companion. Her husband bought it for her when they were first courting, and though he offered her larger and gaudier rocks later in their marriage, she held tight to the memento of their youth and love. Though these were not the finest jewels by any means, they were the best he could offer at the time, and she loved them for that reason.
