I made this rustic beer tap handle from a branch of my Hawthorne tree that was crowding it's neighbor and needed a little pruning. I partially shaped it on my lathe, leaving the bark intact to give it that rustic look. The exposed wood was sanded silky smooth and I brushed the bark to make it shine. A few coats of finish, and this is one shiny branch. The branch shows lots of nice knots where the bark around each one looks like an eye - which is why I'm calling this one Four Eyes. Nice and rustic, and an authentic look for your cabin or man cave.

The tap handle comes ready to install. It's got a brass threaded insert that fits most standard American spigots (3/8" X 16 TPI), and a knurled brass nut so the handle can be tightened in any position. If you have a favorite side you want facing forward - you can do it. The handle is shown mounted to my personal kegerator spigot (not included!) to show the proportion of the handle.

Dimensions: Approximately 8-1/2" tall, and roughly 1-5/8" in diameter.

If you are looking to outfit your home bar with some rustic touches, this tap handle is for you. I also make matching bottle stoppers.

I can also make you a completely custom tap handle! If you've got something in mind, please feel free to contact me. I've got a bunch of really cool woods, and I'm itching to make something for you!

Lots more to see in my main shop!
