Spring SALE: priced down from 16,- to 12,- Euro!

This is a very pretty and extremely rare mid century shell-shaped or shell-inspired teapot. The colours are amazing: rich dark greens and shades of brown. The lid has a little sea shell shape as a handle. It is very tactile: the glazing even has those white 'bumps' you will see on sea shells and rocks that have been in the sea a long time!

Teapots of this kind were made in the fifties and sixties as souvenirs of seaside holiday locations in England, France and Belgium. Or sometimes other places as well - the lid of this teapot has a marking saying "Echternach", a place in Luxembourg!

It is in absolute mint condition!

Please note this listing is for this teapot, but have a look at the cups and saucers and sugar and milk set in the last photo, also currently for sale (see links below).
