This is a pure 100% linen scarf hand block printed with my Burrows pattern and sewn into a double layered tube scarf, perfect for both men and women.

These are my shorter scarves so perfect as a striking kneck-tie accessory.

Dimensions are 56 inches long x 14 inches wide printed in highest grade eco-friendly permanent inks.

Each scarf is made from a double layer of medium weight linen, sewn into a tube and hemmed on all bottom edges. Printed in chalk white against indigo blue linen on the front and lined in matching indigo linen on reverse.

Made from medium weight deep blue Belgian linen hand block printed to create the full pattern and hemmed on bottom edges.
Each piece is hand printed and hand sewn, making each and every piece unique and very definately hand made, no two will be exactly the same.

Subtle variations and imperfections in print are part of the charm and inherent qualities of being hand stamped/block printed.

Linen has been pre-laundered in non-bio detergent so pre-shrunk.

✿This is also available as an infinity scarf in my shop - http://www.etsy.com/listing/98753309/hand-printed-double-linen-layer-circle and in pink - https://www.etsy.com/listing/99547017/hand-printed-double-layer-fuschia-linen✿

You will find that the ink on block printed fabrics such as this will initially have a slightly raised texture and feel upon the fabrics surface unlike other methods of printing. This gradually becomes smoother after being washed without any change to the fabric, inks stay just as bright and striking.

For care of hand printed linens I recommend hand washing and line drying.
Iron on reverse if desired or alternatively twist the damp fabric into a rope effect and leave to dry to create a ruched effect that is perfect for linen and looks fabulous when worn.
