Vintage Singer buttonhole attachment in pink plastic box.

Amazing to look at and amazing to own.

Whether you need a buttonholer or not, this would be a great item to add to your collection of pink decor from the early 1960s.

Measures over 11 inches long, 5 inches across and about 3 inches high. Number 489500 or 489510 buttonholer works with Singer Family Sewing Machines. Makes straight and keyhole buttonholes.

Contents look to be complete inside and if you had the right Singer sewing machine, I am sure this would work just fine. The instruction booklet is still there, nestled in the lid. Upon further inspection of the instruction booklet, I just found the original sales receipt, this little beauty cost $12.95 in 1961. That was a lot of money over 50 years ago-must have been a present for mom.

This lovely treasure would make a great conversation piece, a great gift for that 1960's person in your life or a wonderful box to put on your desk.
