Vintage toleware storage tin or canister originally made to tote pies and cakes to social events. Lots of great storage in this big tin, which appears to me to be handpainted tole with a giant peach and red flower surrounded by yellow and blue flowers. Big plastic red knobs hold the metal contraption that holds it together in place. Plus it has a built in handle.

I think there used to be another piece to this because the lid is the same diameter as the bottom, and perches ontop of it. It stays in place nicely with the metal handle. In fact, this piece was recently used to hold crackers in a beautifully decorated retro red kitchen full of darling vintage.

Definitely in vintage condition with wear, see photos. Inside clean and so is the bottom. Measures about 11" across and about 8" high, including red plastic knob.

You've found AnyOldTime.etsy.com, your place to decorate your vintage kitchen and more! This piece will fit nicely in a vintage kitchen of any color. Any questions? Please just ask! Robin
