This is pair of ruffled candleholders made by Haldeman Pottery in Burbank, CA.
Haldeman Pottery was founded by Virgil and Anna Haldeman in 1933. Virgil Haldeman previously worked for Catalina Clay Products on Catalina Island. Haldeman Pottery was sold under the trade name Caliente. The company closed in 1953. The glaze on these candle holders is really beautiful. They are mostly a light turquoise or jade green color gradually transitioning to peach on the edges.

The candleholders are marked "USA 224" on the underside. The candle holders are in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

The candleholders are 5" across and 1 1/2" high. They fit candles 7/8" in diameter.
