These little sculptures are about a little bigger than life size and have a lovely presence about them.
Each one made by hand by myself from rescued and vintage fabrics and given a light tea wash.
This particular bird is made from a vintage tablecloth and has beautiful worn and fraying hand embroidered flowers scattered across its pretty wings
The wings and tails are very stiff so wont flop or loose that sharp silhouette that's so easy to recognise against the summer sky.
Flaws and odd stitching are celebrated and are to expected.
Designed as a decorative object he is both charming and utterly unique.
These birds are designed to hang from the ceiling and not the wall.
There is a tiny steel ring on its back which makes it easy to hang a single thread from.
He will be sent out recorded so can be tracked and signed for on delivery.
Nothing I make is designed to be given to a child/baby as they are very delicate items which contain wire and beads.
This bird is 41cm wing tip to wingtip and is approx 31cm from beak tip to the end of his tail.
Thanks for looking!
This listing is for one bird, no photographic props are included.
