This teacup (yunomi) was made specifically with tea in mind, but can be used for any beverage you like. Dig the amber hue and fresh combing texture on the outside of this piece!! Glaze on the lip has the faintest touch a Nuka glaze made with re-purposed fireplace ashes.

Dimensions: 2.75" x 3" (w x h)
Volume: ~6oz

Process: This cup was created on the potter's wheel using a light firing clay body. After being glazed, the piece was then high fired in an atmospheric soda kiln to 2350 degrees. The soda atmosphere causes the bare clay to blush, orange peel, and/or became glassy. When a glaze is used on a piece, oftentimes it will melt and run.

Interior Glaze: Nuka
Exterior Glaze: Temmoku

***This piece is Food, Microwave, and Dishwasher safe***
