This is an archival quality print made from my original watercolour "Robin in Snow Drops". Okay - - not the most creative title, right? But, there it is.

Snowdrops are always the pre-cursor to Spring for me. They don't mean spring has arrived yet -- but it won't be long in coming, even if they have to break through little piles of snow to remind us. Those green, growing, unfurling things are beginning to awaken!

The Robin has always meant Spring to me - - though a flock of them were utterly confused this March, when they flew in just before a big snowstorm hit. I felt so sorry for them, and I haven't seen another since. They're probably chillin' in Florida until April when they can be almost sure that it's getting warmer. (It is Canada , though, so the probabilty of another snowfall is there!)

Paper size is 8.5" x 11"

Printed with my new Epson Stylus R2880 with Epson Ultra Chrome pigment inks which are guaranteed to last a couple hundred years. (How do they know this?) on Hahnemuhle Museum Etching quality paper. 350 gsm . Beautiful, thick, watercolour - like paper that is also certified archival.

Enjoy. Check in again soon to see what's new!
