This is a trio of large found objects that have been drilled for craft or jewelry making. The pieces each had a different life before the ocean decided to tumble them around. The glass piece was once part of a Japanese floating ball- the section of the ball that would have been at the end of the blow stick. The little lump would have been inside the glass ball before it broke off. I have no idea how it found itself so far from home off the North Sea but it has somehow. It measures 2" long with a 3mm drill hole. The other two pieces are ceramic. The white would have been a handle on an urn or a large serving bowl. It measures 3 1/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. The drill hole on that is 5mm. The brown piece was most likely a jar lid. The piece measures 1 5/8" diameter and the drill hole is approx 3mm wide.

These beauties were found on Musselburgh beaches that look out over the Firth of the Forth and out into the North Sea. This waterway has been a mariner's highway for centuries and over time has seen nobles, fisherman, cruiseships, ferries and much much more pass through it :)

All of my sea glass/pottery is photographed with a 5 pence piece which is about the same size as an American dime. I use the coin as a size comparison and it won’t be accompanying your item on its journey to you. Item ships from the UK. Standard shipping to UK and USA.
♥ WORLDWIDE shipping available. Please convo me for costs.

Sea Glass is a piece of glass that has found its way into the ocean to be naturally tumbled by the bashing of the waves and sand. This process makes the glass beautifully smooth and velvety soft. They truly are ocean gems and are ideal in jewellery making or mosaics. Those of us who collect sea glass are called seaglunkers. you want to know more about seaglunking visit my blog at http://seaglunker.blogspot.com

All of the sea glass you will find in my shop is 100% Genuine. The sea has broken, tumbled, and caressed every piece.

I will ensure that every item I ship is wrapped and protected with care. If you have any special packaging requests such as if this is a gift for someone else I am happy to give it a bit more love and make sure the recipient is delighted.

If you have any other questions or requests please convo me. Please check out my policies as well http://www.etsy.com/shop/SarahSeaGlass
