A high quality boxed set of six sterling silver teaspoons and sugar tongs.

They bear the lion hallmark for English silver, the leopard's head for London and the date mark "n" which indicates 1908 as the year of manufacture. The makers mark is for the firm of George Jackson and David Fullerton who were renowned London manufacturers and makers of some of the finest quality silver flatware of the period.

The teaspoons are in their original green box with green velvet cushion and padded lid.The box is marked Mappin and Webb of London for whom they were made. Mappin and Webb are a London silversmiths and retailers with roots going back to the 18th century.
They would make a wonderful gift.

The teaspoons measure 4.25".

They have probably never been used.
