This dreamcatcher was originally started as another phoenix-inspired piece, in a fiery theme with glass and tigereye beads and colorful macaw feathers. Somehow along the way it took a different direction, however, and became dedicated instead to the Mesoamericans' legendary feathered serpent.

Ring is approximately 3" across and made of metal - probably brass. The whole piece along with the "tail" is approximately 12" long. Weave is faux sinew.

NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS PIECE. The feathers come from the parrot's natural molt cycle - last I spoke with my friend, Rainbow is still very much alive and well.
