MARTINGALE: Traditional martingale. Control Loop is same a the main loop. This collar does NOT have a buckle. **Training collars are not for tie out, long leads, or retractable leashes.**

BUCKLE MART: is a martingale with a quick release buckle added for easy on and off. Remember, even buckle martingales are NOT for tie out, long leads, or retractable leashes.**

CHAIN MART: is a martingale (half-check collar) option that has been added for those needing a quicker response in training or working sessions. The control loop is made from chain and the collar is made from nylon. These type of collars are designed to allow more control than a standard buckle collar and still be safe to use. Best suited for short-haired dogs. Fine-haired or fluffy haired dogs should use the traditional martingale. Not for water wear.

CHAIN MART BUCKLE: is a chain martingale with a quick release buckle added for easy on and off.**

BUCKLE COLLAR: is a traditional dog collar that uses a quick release buckle. This is not a martingale.*

Measure your dog's neck around the collar's natural resting point. Collars are adjustable up to several inches. If you are not sure what size to order, please include your dog's neck measurement and I'll create a collar just for him or her.

SMALL - fits necks 11-15 inches 

MEDIUM - fits necks 13-18 inches
LARGE - fits necks 16 to 23 inches
X-LARGE - fits necks 18 - 26 inches

SPECIAL SIZING NOTE:
A MARTINGALE is a slip-on collar, you should allow at least 2 inches larger than the widest head measurement to slide the collar on and off comfortably. When sizing for breeds that are not sight hounds, please take the measurement around the widest part of your dog's head, then add two inches.

HANDIWORK:

The collars are constructed using 100% cotton fabrics, high quality hardware, home-decor interfacing, and have a nylon flexible webbing backing that is strong yet supple enough to move with your dog. *Cotton fabrics are not UV resistant and will fade over time.

The 1.5 inch webbing is made from seatbelt and offers an even smoother fit for your pup. The nylon webbing colors are artists choice, unless you ask for a specific color. Only black webbing is available for the 1.5 inch or 2 inch widths.

Re-enforced stitching is used at all stress points. 

Unfortunately, the dog collars are not chew proof, so care is needed when introducing this type of collar to your dogs or puppies. Additionally if you are new to Martingales, these collars are not intended for tie-out situations either, because it is a choker and could seriously hurt your pup.

BUCKLES:

Black high quality plastic curved buckles are used. 
**Please note, as the width increases in the buckle the strength goes down. The plastic bars are longer and break with less force. If you have a puller, I would suggest a traditional martingale.
Remember, even buckle martingales are NOT for tie out.
Metal buckles are not available.
