This is a beautiful antique Afghan rug. Made by the Ersari tribe, it is in the traditional Navy Blue and Red colors. Of the finest quality, soft wool, medium to low even pile. Very little to no wear on the rug, it was well taken care off. I just got this from a historic Massachusetts home. The rug most likely came from the area of Dauvlatabad Afghanistan, known for high quality weavers in this style. The rug measures 2' 8" by 4' 10" a wonderful rug ready for a new home. Very tight weave, and strong colors in this rug. Please ask any questions you have.
