I cut these bold flower beadcaps from raw nickel sheet. Then I annealed them, pickled and cleaned them, and embellished them with tiny rising sun stamps. After antiquing them, I hand-polished them and sealed them in a layer of preservation wax. They sit atop twisted ovals of red agate, with beaded cube beads in silver-plated pewter, on my hand-forged sterling silver ball headpins.
Hand-forged sterling silver ball earwires, 20 gauge. These earrings are 1 and 3/4" long, measuring from the curve of the earwire. The flower caps are about 3/4" across, the agate ovals are about 5/8" long.
