We made this in the mid 90s for our kids, who are now grown up.
This is made of vintage barnwood with the exception of the floors.
It's been through a lot. First it was a stable for palominos. Then the top floor was renovated and turned into a general store which was also a deli. They made nice sandwiches there. Then it got turned into a Christmas tree farm. With free cocoa! Then it got turned into the world's largest incense burner. That was when my son decided to burn an incense cone smack dab in the middle of the general store. You can see the burn hole in the last photo in the last collage image in the listing. Then our dog decided to eat the barn. He took some nibbles and decided it looked a lot better than it tasted. You can see his doggie taste test in the fourth image.
This is in **vintage** condtion. There are remnants of shelves and canned good and baskets in the general store. Some waterstains on the upstairs floor. And a chalkboard up there that used to list the specials of the day. It's been painted and stained several times to cover crayon, marker, and pencil doodles. There's another chalkboard outside on the front of the barn.
It's really big, and really heavy. We're selling this not as a toy, but as a piece of folk art for display. And for you to decorate. The general store needs some revamping, you know.
This is not actually 70.00 to ship. Please convo with your zip code for a shipping quote. This is large and heavy and we need to get a zip code to nail down a shipping quote, and to discern whether or not ups, usps or fedex is the least expensive way to send to you.
23" wide, 15 1/2" deep, 16 1/2" high.
