WOW! Incredible Edwardian-era beaded black and gold fringe trim / necklace. Super heavy and high quality piece with some of the most exquisite detail work I've ever seen. Handmade with beads in shapes I've never seen before and fabrics and threading I don't recognize. This is truly old and truly amazing. I've attached a saftey pin as a closure at the neck but you could easily sew it into a closed loop (or use this as trim on a garment instead).

The piece is in fair condition. Treasure it as a collectors item or just be amazing and wear it anyway! Still, beads are missing in many places and there are some loose strands and ripped mesh (see photos for details). I'd say the piece is about 75-80% intact, but that's just an estimate. It is still wearable, but delicate. Spectacular find!

(( Please note: color is a pure, deep black with dark brown mesh and thread work. Photos have been lightened to show detail. ))
