White Monet Fish Brooch Goldtone Vintage 1970-80s

This is a very nice, and fairly large, fish brooch done in white enamel over goldtone metal with goldtone accents on the front. It is signed on the back "Monet." My guess is that it is circa 1970-80s because that is when all the white enameled jewelry was popular.

This pretty little gal is 2-1/2" long and 2-1/4" tall, and she is 3-dimensional. There is a tiny crack in the goldtone area of her lower fin. I don't believe it is detrimental to wearing, but wanted to let you know I don't consider it collector quality because of that flaw. You can't really see it with the naked eye. I used my loupe.

Other than that, the rest of the brooch is in excellent condition and clean.

Frequently asked questions about AtticDustAntiques

Yes, I am happy to check for you! Most of the time, costs have been correctly stated, but there is always the possibility of an error. If you will contact me with your zip code, I will double check to make sure you are seeing the correct shipping cost.
I ship only through USPS. Items that are under 1 pound are generally sent first class mail and anything over 1 pound is sent priority mail. I've found that standard or parcel post shipping generally costs nearly as much (and sometimes more) than the priority service. Priority mail comes with insurance.
You order is generally shipped the next business day after you place it. USPS priority should reach you within 2-4 days after I mail it. First class packages take about 5-7 days to arrive.
