Lightweight, classic, and endearingly puffy, this antique pin gleams with textured leaves and a sprig of charming, detailed acorns on a tangle of branches, all in a smooth gold finish.

This medium-size gold-over-silver repousse brooch dates to about 1870-1890. As is common with antique brooches, the original t-bar pin has been replaced sometime in the past with a professionally soldered circa 1930 pin. The c-clasp, however, is original. In fantastic condition, this handsome pin has little to no damage—especially impressive considering how common it is to find these hollow brooches with dents and caved-in backs!

This pin is so bright and reflective that it cataches any glimmer of light and magnifies it into a luxurious flash of yellow. This pin is in perfect, wearable condition, ready to get you plenty of compliments on your next evening out (plus, it looks smashing on a brown velvet ribbon as a necklace)!
