An all wool apron in a rich brown 'herringbone' weave - the photos don't do the color justice! If you are working around an open fire - this is the apron you need to protect your skirts from sparks and flames! Sparks falling on wool fabric smolder, they don't burst into flames! Perfect for cooks and bakers at reenactments and historic sites. All visible stitching on the hem, waistband and ties is hand done. The wool is not scratchy, it is soft and supple.

The waist band (end to end) is 16", with 2 36" long ties. Long enough to tie in back and make a good size bow. The skirt part is 31" long and 48" wide - nice and full!

100% wool fabric. Machine wash and dry.

This listing is for the apron ONLY, the shirt and skirt on the mannequin are for display purposes only.
