The Pig Tail Food Flipper replaces spatulas, tongs and forks. It turns, flips, moves and carries food in a flash on surfaces such as gas or charcoal grills, electric grills, stove-top skillets or broiler pans. It won't scrape up grease like a spatula and will not bleed or mark meats. Although the pig tail curve is large enough for serious meats, the tip is sharp and delicate for smaller, tender foods. This is an incredibly handy kitchen tool that will make you wonder how you ever got by without one.

Described as: "A cooking tool with a silly name and a seriously functional form" -Fine Cooking Magazine

This listing includes a custom turned handle made from the wood Lignum Vitae, one of the hardest and heaviest woods in the world. Because of its self lubricating qualities, this wood was often used for bearings and insulators in the early 1900's. Turned on our lathe, sanded and finished, this golden/green wood ages with stunning beauty.

The overall length of the tool is 20” and the handle is 5'’ long and 1” at the widest diameter. This tool will be helpful whether you are cooking indoors or outdoors, and would make a great gift for the cooks on your list!

We work with many woods, and custom requests are encouraged. If you have a specific wood in mind, please CONVO us with your idea.
