Vintage from the 1940s
What a fantastic piece! Travel alarm and clock works great on a 24 hour test. It does have some wear to the gold tone trim but there are no chips or cracks to the plastic casing. Some minor wear and scratching to case from shelf wear. Casing is a walnut brown color with a bit of tortoise shell pattern to each side.
Dial is luminous and is two tone. Minute and second hand move smoothly. Alarm hand in red.
Easel back to stand on table during use. Shutter slide door on front that is an easy open and close. Pull knob on back for alarm on/off. Two dials to set the alarm and also the time. Key wind daily. Also, a fast/slow shift to calibrate time.
Slim design to fit snuggly in a train case or over night bag.

This is the cutest little set of "servers"!!! I remember the larger bowl in my Grandmother's kitchen and in my Mom's as well. My 41-year-old daughter fell in love with them when she saw them, so I may be ordering another set soon!!! I'm still crazy about Planters peanuts...I keep them available at all times...with a back-up jar in my pantry. You could say "I grew up with Mr. Peanut!" and we're still good friends to this day!
