Maria Goretti (1890 – 1902) is an Italian virgin-martyr, and is one of the youngest canonized saints. She died from stab wounds inflicted by Alessandro Serenelli after she refused his advances. Maria forgave him on her deathbed. When Maria was declared a saint in 1950, a repentant Alexander was there in the St. Peter's crowd to celebrate her canonization. St. Maria Goretti is the patroness of young women and purity. Her feast day is celebrated on July 6.

These are sturdy, well-made bracelets that are slightly adjustable. I cut out the image by hand and added silvery blue glitter. Please specify PINK or BLUE when ordering
