Help! I have a pattern question!

Is this a finished object?

No. This is a knitting pattern, not a finished object. All of my listings are for PDF downloads of the pattern; no paper patterns are sent, no finished objects. This is for PDF download patterns only, NOT a finished object.

I saw your pictures being used on _____ site!!

First - thank you so much for letting me know! I really appreciate your diligence in finding my shop and sending me a message. Lately, I’ve had a huge issue with my images being stolen. Many sellers, both independent and across various big name sites (including here on Etsy) have stolen my pictures and are using them to sell whatever fraudulent products they are selling. Unless the listing is under my name, “Emma Bermudez Designs,” the images are being used in violation of copyright law. I have been working diligently to have these listings removed. My pictures will never be genuinely used to advertise finished products. Please be cautious with listings like those.

I got scammed because of your pictures!

I’m really sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, if you purchased something on another site which used my images (with the exception of Ravelry, where I also sell my patterns), I’m not able to help you. I’m not affiliated with them, they committed copyright infringement. Please contact the host of the site that you purchased the object from and inform them of the issue.

Where can I find the pattern in other languages?

Unfortunately, my patterns are only available in English. While I’d love to offer the patterns in other languages, that’s not something I’m currently able to offer. Thank you for your interest!

I thought this pattern was a photo tutorial.

All my patterns are primarily or entirely written. Occasionally, I’ll have photos to demonstrate a technique or how something should be done. However, this does not occur in all patterns, and is listed in the description when it does occur. Some patterns have charts. This is stated in the description of that listing. If something is not expressly stated in the description, please do not assume it will occur.

Do you sell the finished socks?

No, I’m sorry. I’m not able to knit in the quantities required to sell finished objects. I only sell patterns :)

Why are there other shops on Etsy selling your socks?

Short answer: They’ve stolen my pictures and their listings appear faster than I can report. Long answer: I don’t sell socks. I sell knitting patterns. There are a lot of opportunistic unscrupulous shops who have taken my pictures and are using them to misrepresent the items they’re selling. You’re not going to get the socks in the pictures. Two of the yarns I used have been discontinued. One of the yarns cost $40 to knit the socks - that they’re selling for $20. I am not affiliated with these stores. My product photos have been stolen. My pictures are being used to misrepresent someone else’s product. If you want examples of what you might get if you buy from them, please message me. I’ve had scammed folks message me pictures.
