This rare and remarkable timepiece is a running fusee pocket watch, circa 1870, in excellent condition:

+ Fusee Movement - These antique movements are powered by a spring and chain... truly genius mechanics for the time
+ Sterling Silver Case (Hallmarked for London 1870)
+ Made by John Bryson (signed on the movement)
+ Movement Serial Number 793
+ Nearly perfect dial - No noticeable hairlines or chips
+ Key Wound & Set (the key will be included)
+ Magnificent balance assembly with a gold balance wheel

This watch still winds, ticks, and keeps excellent time for a fusee watch of nearly 150 years. Truly amazing.

This is a great pocket watch to add to your collection, give as a gift, or sport with your dress atire (though, this particular piece really belongs in a collection or museum).

The watch will also arrive in a special metal gift container, ready for you to put a tag on it.

You can view this watch in person at Gas Lamp Antiques in Nashville, Tennessee [Case #S615]
