Lucky day! You've found a vintage General Electric hand mixer! This small turquoise electric mixer 10M47 has removable electric cord and beaters. It is fully functional, but one of the beaters is bent, so the beaters clatter together while it runs (you can still use it this way). The three speeds all run smoothly, and the motor sounds healthy. The beaters have some surface rust, and the body of the beater has scratches, stains, and loss of gloss from years of use. The front aluminum vent panel has bends. The electrical cord has had the plug end replaced.

This vintage GE hand mixer definitely shows its age, but I bet it will still last longer than a new mixer. From the early 1960s, it's perfect for a food photography prop, 1960s kitchen decor, or for mixing and baking.
