Pictured are the various colors of solder we offer, this is for the annealed and milled one (the flat kind pictured).

Here in Mexico we are in the country of "UN-Information" hehe. I use solder from all over the place, there are 4 types that I have ran into that to me seems pretty good. I ask over and over what is the temperature of the melting point only to get goofy looks, and excuses like "oh, we know just by watching it" or "we just know by instinct when it will run". Frustration needless to say for me. Anyway.....then they ask me "why do you want to know that?" Uggg!

I was taught here (instinct you know hehe) that I had to roll it up and flame anneal it, then quench it, put it through my rolling mill to flatten it some, then flame quench it again and it is ready to use. I recently learned you do not need to do these steps UNLESS soldering really fine, tiny things. This is what is used to solder silver here in Mexico, especially in Taxco. I can't give you the melting point, but I suspect it is under 1300F but above 1000F. I am trying to get this info from the manufacturer, but of course the people who sell it don't want me to know who makes it, so it is a vicious circle here in Mexico! haha, but this is good stuff, you can try it and if you like it I have more....it is very easy to use. I am rather certain it has no silver content.

Feel free to convo me for packages or more than 1 rod of this nice solder, easy to use!
