"The candle is within you. Protect it. Don't let the world blow it out."

This was a vintage slip, that appears to be from the 1950s. Tag said Size M. I will call colour ecru. It is now a skirt that has been embellished with many interesting and mismatched linens. These include: handkerchiefs, crochet, embroidery, lace, collar, table linens, cutwork, etc. I implemented 2 vintage cloves as front pockets. I especially love the vintage embroidery (former dishtowel) of Dutch girl raking leaves. This would be lovely for a tea party, garden gathering event, friends get-together, etc. Length 35"; hem sweep 42" with a 13" slit on backside, center; hips to 36"; elastic on backside of waist allows a waist measurement of from 20" to 30". The vintage collar on front side, top center, wraps around to backside where I added 2 pieces of lace of
3" X 30" each: these can be tied or draped in a multitude of ways to your liking. This item carries the "Random Scraps of Fabric" label and is signed by me, Bonny Gorsuch in Cannon Beach, Oregion, USA. Thank you for looking!--bonnyg
