Fun and funky and bright and sparkly! This brooch is cast from gold tone metal in the shape of a platform shoe and accented with rainbow colored enamel and little rhinestone studs. The pin mechanism on the back does not latch well, however, so some tinkering with it would be necessary before you could wear it with confidence.

This brooch was inspired by none other than the famous 1938 Salvatore Ferragamo Ankle Strap Platform Shoes in the Metropolitan Museum of Art: http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/works-of-art/1973.282.2

Brooch is approx. 2" long by 1.5" tall. Unsigned.
