This silver plated bird strainer was invented by A. Wagner in Germany, and patented in1936. This one is not marked or signed.

The bird measures 4.5" beak to tail and is 2" high

Excellent condition.....Place the lemon wedge under the bar and press... the juice can then be poured from the bird's beak. A most sophisticated way to extract citrus juice without getting messy!
Wonderful antique patina and with great workmanship in the feathers and details. fully functional for use. A nice conversation piece too~
