Antique wood type letterpress alphabet in uppercase condensed french clarendon font would make for great vintage display or put to work in printed art. This particular type dates to late 1890's, almost 50 years after Clarendon Company commissioned the creation of this font in the 1840's. The A's in this found set are stamped with Hamilton Two Rivers, Wis..

If you like sarcasm as much as I do, you might have just the place for this lovely! They are not attached, so you can arrange them however you like. (There is a full set of A to Z currently listed as well)

Letterpress measures 1-3/10" tall and could use a good cleaning if intended usage is for printed artwork, as they are being listed as found. Me personally? I leave my found treasures rusty and crusty : )
