Lovely vintage 1940s-1950s art pottery figural planter in a soft pink glaze. We love the natural, yet slightly abstract, look of this design that seems to capture the birds mid-motion.

The piece is unmarked – we’ve seen similar pieces identified as McCoy, Shawnee, or Morton – but it’s definitely mid-century (1940s or 1950s) American pottery.

Measures 8” wide from wingtip to wingtip and 4” in depth.

Excellent condition without chips or cracks. The inside is hollow all the way under the birds - there are a few hard water deposits deep inside but they don't affect presentation or use.

Thanks for looking!
