Mid Century Modern Atomic Era Ceramic Vase - Vintage Pink And Black California Pottery Planter

This vase, in a gorgeous pink and black atomic pattern, is absolutely stunning. Reminiscent of both the hourglass design style as well as atomic patterns, the Mid Century feel of this piece is remarkable. Undeniably Modern, this vase is a testament to the tenets of Eames and Nelson era aesthetics. Composed of straight black lines intersected by a curved pink line, the geometry of this planter is fascinating from any angle, and the beautiful stucco-like white glaze catches natural light wonderfully. In excellent shape, there is no visible wear, though there is one manufactering flaw (a bit of pink paint, seen at the top of image 5). The piece is unmarked, though is a definitive example of California Modern tastes: a beautiful piece of vintage California pottery, it is clearly of the highest craftsmanship. Sure to add a neat sense of Modernism to any space, this atomic planter is perfect for your Eames era home or office.
