A vintage knitting pattern from 1974 for a warm mohair twinset knitted in zigzag/ripple stitch; sweater has long sleeves and poloneck/turtleneck; coordinating jacket/cardi is in broader chevron stripes.

Yarn used for the cardigan is Jaeger Mohair Spun -no longer available, but equivalent to Aran weight yarn (fisherman=US yarn) and the sweater in Jaeger Celtic Spun - again no longer available but the modern equivalent is any 4 ply yarn (fingering). Instructions for bust sizes 32", 34" and 36".

No delivery delays or charges! You can now download this pattern immediately payment has been made. I also supply conversion charts with yarn/needle/hook equivalents, and hints on working with vintage patterns, to help you make something new out of something old.

You can print out your pattern at home and you are free to make and sell any item from my vintage pattern collection. But please appreciate the time taken to digitally restore these patterns and do not copy or re-sell this newly created digital version.

Please note this is a PDF pattern only - not the finished garment or the original pattern. You can open the PDF pattern from your computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader (if you don't already have this it can be downloaded free from www.adobe.com).
