Large antique 1920s era Egyptian Revival brass slide pendant, no chain. This is an unusual double-sided piece with quite a heft to it. It features an Egyptian design etched into the front and back. The pendant slides open loosely to reveal a faded period photo of a young man inside with a photo ring (no covering). The other side is empty and is a dark reddish color with some symbols, possibly Asian, scratched into it. The pieces slide back together in a closed position, but there is nothing to secure them so the pendant does NOT stay securely closed. There is a large loop at the top for hanging. Measures 4.5cm (just over 1-3/4 inch) in diameter. Some dark discoloration, tarnish, nicks and surface scratches from over the years. This piece could use a gentle cleaning--I'll leave that up to you. A wonderful, highly unique pendant from an exciting period in history!

Insurance is included in the shipping cost for this item.
