SALE—was $39

Chill Dodger made this great jacket in the 1950s, and it is silky black acetate quilted with wool interlining (according to the label). It is light but warm. The jacket looks sporty to me, especially with its front separating metal zipper, but it is also dressy, with clear prong-set rhinestones and black and gold metallic cord decorating the front. The jacket is somewhat fitted with darts. The front hem is shaped with points, like a vest. All edges are piped.

Condition: Good, and totally wearable. There is very slight fading on the sleeves, less in person than shows in the next to last square. There are a number of small stretches of stitching missing in the quilting, most noticeably on the shoulders. I show one shoulder, and a closeup of one area of missing stitches, in the last square. Because there are stitching holes and indentations, the missing stitching is not terribly obvious.

Size: Medium by my estimate

Bust-39"
Waist-33"
Back of neck to hem-18.5"
Shoulder to shoulder-15.5"
Outer sleeve length-22"

Please note: I measure the dimension of the item itself, and you will need to consider what size you would want the item to be to fit well on you.
