With this STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL I teach you how to UPCYCLE an Adult shirt into a LINED Baby/Toddler Dress. This tutorial also includes A BONUS Add ON to teach you how to add an overlay to your dress as seen in picture #5.
I will show you how easy it is to transform an adult shirt to a child dress using a bodice pattern piece you already have. Please note this tutorial does NOT include a pattern and it is NOT a finished garment - it is just a tutorial. To follow this tutorial you will need a bodice pattern piece from an existing pdf or commercial pattern that you already have and love. Please note, this tutorial was done with a size Medium 15.5 Oxford shirt to make a size 3T dress. Your finished product size will vary depending on the size of the shirt you use and the measurement of your child.
