This is the real deal. Authentic TIN Seal of North Carolina Smoking Tobacco Marburg Bro's. Advertising Tin -- DATED 1871 on the bottom -- Very very rare collectible.

Measures 16 inches wide x 22 inches long -- someone framed a long long time ago and I got as a gift a long time ago -- all original and has been hanging in our livingroom for years. We had sold this to a gentleman for a higher price -- but he asked for a refund for someone (not us) had painted on this to touch up the face on the left -- and some areas on the tin. After researching and chatting with those of knowledge of antiques -- we understand that was done frequently from historians for these were used on the back of chairs in smoking and tobacco shops as well as bars and restaurants back in the 30s and 40s. And with wear -- some were painted by those who saved them -- trying to restore where worn. Therefore buying as is -- a rare piece.........................most were thrown out as hotels, etc. went out of business.

Researched the the lowest we found on similar was $290 and not in the best condition. This would be perfect for any historian in NC! Will ship it all to you in a box -- protected -- for we price our items -- and try to protect always. We ship from our home and purchasing the box and bubble wrap -- always runs a bit more for shipping.
