Envelope clutch was made on my incredible Willcox & Gibbs 1903 chain stitch treadle sewing machine, see the last photo. The white wool was recycled from an early 1980s coat, lining is a cotton print and the closure is a button and crocheted loop. I used purple variegated DMC tatting thread to stitch the wavy line design and to seam the sides, finished size is 4 3/8 X 7 1/4 inches. I carefully hand stitched the lining in place, small stitches so it looks neat.

Convo if you would like a custom order made on this fabulous sewing machine. This 109 year old iron lady is nicknamed "Gibson Girl" because she is of that era.

Thank you and please visit my shop to see all my listings, things made on old iron ladies and gents and items to help you with your vintage machine. http://www.etsy.com/shop/TreadleLady
