An unusual accessory; this piece is a faux shirt collar (to be worn under a real shirt) with a lacy cascading jabot attached at the neck. Fastens with three buttons at the back. The jabot hangs free of the backing fabric, so the lace can be tucked inside or left outside of a shirt's neckline. Fancy!

Condition:
In decent shape, aside from a couple small holes in the fabric towards the back (see last photo, where they are barely visible on the left side). These holes would probably be covered by any collared shirt worn overtop. The lace is nice and crisp, with no damage, discolouration, or imperfections. No label. The 1980's are most likely to blame for this piece, although I'm not 100% certain.

Measurements:
neck: 15"/38cm
width: 13"/33cm shoulder to shoulder
lace panel length: about 7-1/2"/19cm
lace panel width: about 7"/17.5cm
