100% Beeswax -hand poured into a heavily carved European cookie mold.

Here is a single pinecone with needles and a heavy framing border. So simple, and so beautiful! There is a dusting of cinnamon to give wonderful detail. SIZE: 2 1/4" x 2 3/8" by about 1/2" thick.

My castings are made from reproductions of the springerle and spice cookie molds carved as long ago as 1500. These cookies were sold at fairs and bakeries, and what a competition for the best cookies there must have been when you see how beautiful and original these molds are.

Because Beeswax has a melting point of 140 degrees F, the casting will not melt under normal household temperatures. I store mine wrapped individually in tissue paper- BUT NOT IN THE ATTIC! I have beeswax ornaments that are 30 plus years old and look as good as the day I bought them.

Fabulous detail, carved casting in black Also available in natural and red.
