Hand dyed Falkland wool combed top, fiber for spinning and felting.

Shades of orange;
4.06oz/115g

Photos are the actual fiber you will receive.

Falkland wool is a Merino cross. It is not quite as soft as Merino, but is still soft enough for next-to-the-skin wear for most people, and has the advantage of being slightly more durable. It spins into a very lofty yarn with a lot of elasticity. Falkland works beautifully for shawls, scarves, hats and sweaters. It is less well-suited to projects like socks and gloves or mittens, and will pill terribly unless spun into a tight three-ply, however it loses a lot of its bounce and elasticity when spun that way.

This product was produced in a smoke-free but cat-friendly house.

Please bear in mind that although I go to great lengths to represent the color as accurately as I can, all monitors display color differently.
