This delicate and detailed doll is inspired by the return of spring. Her dress is like a fresh daffodil and she is lovingly holding a robin who just got back to town.

Robin stands 15" tall. She is poseable, with her body made of wire, wood and batting. Her head, hands, feet and avian friend are made of Creative Paperclay which has been carefully painted with layers of watercolor to giver her the pale blush of springtime. Her sweater is hand knitted and she is embellished with wool felt leaves and flower in her hair. Every detail has been seen to, down to her white painted slippers decorated with yellow flowers, her peach striped wristlets and the sparkle in her eyes!

She is a member of the Woodland Child series that I have been working on this year.
