A fabulous vintage cook book to add to your collection. It has been used and shows it's age, dated 1946... but has held up well and is so full of wonderful recipes, tips and culinary information. There are some great pictures, both in color and black and white. The cover has a fair amount of smudges and worn spots. There are some pages that have dog earred corners at the bottom, a section of about 15 pages. This is not a huge detraction from it's overall condition, and they can be straightened carefully to lay flat again. There is a recipe for French Bread written in pen on the first inside page. I think that's an especially fun touch, that makes it feel all the more loved. The pages are fairly tanned, especially on the outer edges. There is a small tear in the green covering fabric at the top of the spine, right where both the back and front boards meet the spine.
It measures 5.5 x 8.25 x 1.75 inches.

If you've ever wondered how to fix possum, squirrel or other such "game" this is the book for you!

I think I'll go write down some of these great recipes!
