Listed are two trays by Couroc.Couroc was a big gift item during the midcentury. In the 1970s I sold Couroc as wedding gifts. It was considered a nice, fancy thing to own. However, if you read the label, Couroc asserts its goods as durable and impervious, as well as being hand inlaid. So no fancy treatment required.

The 7"x6" trays are a nice soft black and free of any blemish. The blue leaves are inlaid with a turquoise colored material and bits of sparkle. The abstract tree branches might be copper. The coins all date to the 1950s. I cannot identify all of them. Some of the countries of origin are as follows: the Netherlands, Canada, Korea (I think), and something that reads as the Naronna Republik. The labels are still attached to the backs of each tray.

They would make a nice gift for a coin collector as well as for the midcentury buff.
