This is an antique engraving of different cultural and domestic objects from Australia and other Pacific cultures, from Meyers Konversationslexikon, published in the 1890s.
Beautifully detailed depiction of clothing, weaponry and other objects from (Aboriginal) Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea, Tonga, the Easter islands and other Pacific regions. Ready to frame. The important thing about this listing is, that the two photos I show are the two sides of ONE page. That means you will only see one of these when you frame them, unless you use a floating frame, which I highly recommend, since both images are absolutely beautiful. Rotating them would be another option. The prints are old, but the paper is in good, sturdy condition.

-page size is 9.6" x 6.3" (24,5 x 16 cm), image itself a little smaller

- condition: excellent for its age with some yellowing, (some imperfections to be expected due to its age of 110+ years)

- back: the 2nd engraving

- description and origin of objects in German

On request I can include the title page of the book with publication date and name of publisher, just let me know!
