#575 Hooey Stick with blue spinner

An old-fashioned toy and a lot of fun! In some places it is called a whimmydiddle. In some places a gee-haw stick. In other places a thingamajig. I grew up calling it a hooey stick.

By rubbing the notched stick with the other one the vibrations will make the little spinner on the end whirl as fast as it can. It does take a little practice. Each stick is a little different, so you might have to rub fast or rub slow, favoring the right side or the left side, rubbing hard or rubbing soft. With enough practice you can even make the spinner turn in either direction!

Sticks are 1/2 inch dowels about nine inches long and made of birch. Directions included. Made in the USA.

To see how a hooey stick works, use the link below to go to my about page and then click on the "Shop Website" link, which will take you to Utube videos of all my action toys!
