This lovely dress is probably from the 1960s. It's sleeveless with a semi full skirt and fitted bodice. The front has wide bands on each sides at armholes and 3 draped horizontal folds at neckline. The bodice ends in a "v" shape in front. The dress zips up in back and there are darts at the shoulders and bodice area. The material feels like polyester and features a lovely combination of green, yellow and light blue on a white background with swirls that reminds me of a watercolor painting. The dress is washable. There is no tag - the dress may have been home sewn. There is a small hole in front near bottom on right (or left if being worn) that has been patched with some material from seam salvage. I don't think this would be noticeable since the pattern is so busy (see last photo). Otherwise the dress is in very good condition. Measurements are as follows:

Bust: 38 inches (at underarms)
Waist: 32 inches (at bottom of bodice)
Hips: 52 inches
Width at bottom: 104 inches
Length: 44 inches (measured on back)
Bodice length: 13 3/4 inches (measured on back)
Armhole length: 8 inches
Zipper length: 18 1/2 inches
Neckline opening: about 5 1/2 inches deep (from shoulders)

This pretty, fresh looking dress would look great worn to attend an afternoon wedding, or for a spring/summer dressy event or a special date.

Postage prices quoted are for Priority (U.S. Domestic) or 1st Class International (elsewhere).
